BIENVENUE, PRIÈRE ET APPEL À LA CÉLÉBRATION / GREETING, PRAYER AND CALL TO WORSHIP
(Se lever / Congregation rises as the Minister enters)
As I live every day, I want to be a channel for peace. May I bring love where there is hatred and healing where there is hurt; joy where there is sadness, and hope where there is fear. I pray that I may always try to understand and comfort other people, as well as seeking comfort and understanding from them. May I choose always to be a light in the darkness, a help in times of need, and a caring honest friend. And may justice, kindness, and peace flow from my heart forever. Amen.
Holy are you, Source and Creator of all things;
We praise you for your gift of life.
Holy are you, Son and Redeemer of all things;
We thank you for your gift of new life.
Holy are you, Spirit and Sustainer of all things;
We worship you in holiness, ever Three and Ever One.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
And also with you.
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty,
God in Three Persons, blessed Trinity! (Sung)

God of mystery and mercy, you know the details of our lives. You see the sin and the sorrow we bear; you see the problems and the possibilities we face. You see how we fit into the world around us and how we rub each other the wrong way. We confess we do not always see what you see. Open our eyes to the truth of our lives and touch us with your grace. Amen.

PSAUME / RESPONSIVE READING: Psalm 8
O Lord, our God
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
Your splendour is chanted above the heavens by the mouths of babes and infants.
You have set up a defense against your foes to still the enemy and the avenger.
When I look at the heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established,
what are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them?
Yet you have made them a little lower than the angels, and crowned them with glory and honour.
You have given them dominion over the works of your hands.
You have put all things under their feet.
All sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field,
the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas.
O Lord, our God
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
GLORIA PATRI (594) (Gloire au Père)
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.

PRIÈRE D’OFFRANDE / OFFERTORY PRAYER
CANTIQUE / HYMN: 543 HERE, O MY LORD (1 – 3)
PAROLES DE L'INSTITUTION / THE WORDS OF INSTITUTION
INVITATION À LA TABLE / INVITATION TO THE TABLE
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit the one, holy, universal, and apostolic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
LA GRANDE PRIÈRE D'ACTION DE GRÂCE / THE GREAT PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING
The Lord be with you.
And also with you.
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them up to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give God thanks and praise.
Blessed are you...So now, with all the powers of heaven and earth, we sing the ageless hymn of your glory:
Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might,
Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might,
Heaven and earth are full, full of your glory.
Hosanna in the highest.
Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
Hosanna in the highest.
Hosanna in the highest.
Holy is your Son, Jesus. Walking this earth, feeding the hungry, calling the lost, seeing the forgotten, touching those in need of healing, teaching those who sought out wisdom, and loving all, he showed your kingdom in your world and we who are many are made one in him. In breaking bread and sharing wine with your people here and in all places we recall the mystery of our faith:
Christ has died;
Christ is risen;
Christ will come again.
Pour out your Spirit upon us...And now we pray the family prayer which Jesus taught.
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever, Amen.

For those who have expressed interest in singing as a choir, we are including a list of upcoming hymns to give people the opportunity to learn their parts on their own ahead of time. Please sit on the side closest to the video camera, or see France at the beginning of the service for sitting assignment. It is important to note that people should not wear perfume while singing close to others.
How to proceed to study the music on your own:
For regular attendees who read music, you may take pictures of the hymns in the hymn book for you to practice at home for the next service. For those learning by ear, many common hymns are available on you tube where you can listen to them ahead of time. During services, the organist always plays the entire hymn once as an introduction, giving you a head start on how it goes.
